Suspected cop killer arrested without incident

KANAB – Suspected cop killer Scott Curley was arrested late last night in Kanab after police searched for four days after Curley allegedly shot and killed Kane County sheriff deputy Brian Harris Thursday afternoon.
Public Information Officer Johnny Heppler with the St. George Police Department confirmed reports that Curley, 23, was arrested last night. Several police agencies from Washington County had been assisting with the search.
The Deseret News reported that Curley was spotted by a homeowner in the Lost Spring area outside Kanab. He was arrested without incident around 1 a.m.
