ST. GEORGE – What is 27 feet long, 7 tons, covered in ketchup and mustard, and is cruising to St. George from October 25-30: the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile.
There are six Wienermobile vehicles on the hotdog highways of America with the first one dating back to 1936. Since then, each Wienermobile has spread miles of smiles and fun wherever it goes.
Throughout the week, the Wienermobile is joining various venues and community charities in the area to spread good moods, good food and family fun, including Fiesta Fun, Habitat for Humanity, the St. George Farmers' Market and P.A.W.S. to raise awareness for their causes and to ketchup with the St. George community.
All of the partners have agreed to host a contest at each venue for participants to win a ride in the 2009 Oscar Mayer Wienermobile. There will be games and prizes at each of the events that the Wienermobile will be at.
