ST. GEORGE – Officers arrested a 40-year-old St. George man after a weeklong investigation into accusations of sex abuse.
Officer Johnny Heppler said Willian Edgard Romero-Estrada was arrested on numerous sex offense charges after a neighborhood boy under the age of 10 identified Romero-Estrada as the man who had allegedly been sexually abusing him over the past year.
“One occasion reportedly involved Romero-Estrada brandishing a firearm in a threatening manner prior to the offense,” Heppler said.
On Friday, May 6, detectives arrested Romero-Estrada and booked him into jail on five counts of sex abuse of a child and one count of aggravated sex abuse of a child.
