ST. GEORGE – A St. George man was arrested on three counts of aggravated sexual abuse after allegedly touching two girls under the age of 14.
Rudy Gomez, 52, was arrested yesterday evening on three 1st-degree felonies.
Capt. James Van Fleet said the original report came from the mother of the two girls who lives in Mesquite. St. George Police began investigating the incidents, which allegedly occurred in June and in 2007.
Van Fleet said the investigation is ongoing and did not say in what way Gomez may have inappropriately touched the girls.

Where is that pedophile task force?? Truelly hope that vigilanty mentality does not rise up and attempt to deal with this sick, perverted element amongst the community. Some severe punishments need to be meted out to discourage this type of child abuse. Justice can only do so much. Maybe they should be put into the general population in correctional facilities….see how well they do there. I really have a disdain for child molesters.
