ST. GEORGE – Several local businesses come together to raise money for the Dixie Care and Share at a travel trade show on Oct. 28 at The BellTower Courtyard, 1386 East 100 South.

The trade show titled “Taste the World in a Day” will begin at noon and conclude at 6 p.m. The show features local businesses that will showcase their products in order to raise funds to help support the Dixie Care and Share. Entrance to the show is $5 per person and all proceeds go to the Dixie Care and Share. Also a 7-day cruise will be raffled to help raise more funds.

In addition to local businesses, there will be representatives from national businesses present to offer specials for the 2012 travel season. Also discounts on travel will be offered if trips are booked within two weeks of the show.

“The main thing for us is to give back to our community, support Dixie Care and Share and other businesses,” said Celece Seegmiller, owner of Travel Connection.

Show attendants can peruse the booths, enjoy the food and attend the 30-minute seminars held throughout the show designed to feature a different travel destination. A fashion show will take place at 5:30 p.m. to close the show’s events.

For more information and to RSVP, contact the Travel Connection at 435-628-3636 or visit stgeorgetravel.com. Signing up early allows attendants to receive a schedule of the seminars and additional detailed information. Other donations can be made on the day of the event, and donations for the raffle are welcomed now by contacting the Travel Connection.

“We would like to have a great turn out and the more people who turn out the more we can give back to the Dixie Care and Share,” Seegmiller said.
