ST. GEORGE – Is this a must-win game? The Utah Jazz come into tonight’s ball game against the San Antonio Spurs one and one-half games out of the final playoff spot, with only nine games left.

The Spurs are the best team in the Western Conference and are playing for a No. 1 seed in the playoffs. The Spurs beat the Jazz last night 114-104 in San Antonio for their eleventh straight win.

After tonight’s game against the Spurs, the Jazz go on a three-game road trip before heading home to take on the defending champion, the Dallas Mavericks.

With a loss tonight, the Jazz would fall two games out of the final playoff spot. Five of the final nine games are against playoff teams, and three of the other four games are against teams that are still in the playoff hunt.

The Jazz have to try and defend their home court over the last three weeks of the season with five games left at home.

The Jazz and Spurs tip off tonight at 7 p.m. at Energy Solutions Arena in Salt Lake City.
