Some of our STGnews community have asked how they might have an image of their choice show up with their comments to our stories online. You asked, we have the answer. Here is what you do:

You have to setup an account with Gravatar.com. Your Gravatar is an image that follows you from site to site appearing beside your name when you do things like comment or post on a blog. Avatars help identify your posts on blogs and web forums.

Gravatar then uses your email to show your thumbnail. It’s used on many sites including the kind of platform that our STGnews website is developed in.
