CEDAR CITY— The Redmen scored 21 points in the first quarter and were able to clear the benches late in this rout.
QB Brecken Lewis had two first-quarter TD passes and also rushed one in as the Redmen won their 16th game in 18 tries against the crosstown Falcons. Lewis hit Austin Obering from 47 yards to open the scoring and Treyson Kite from 55 yards to close the quarter. In between, he snuck one in from a yard out.
CV finally scored on a 9-yard run by Michael Musto, but Cedar scored 21 straight over the next 18 minutes of gametime to turn it into a rout.
