Health, wellness publisher releases new book: ‘WholeFit: Wellness for Life’

ST. GEORGE — St. George area resident Jared DuPree, CEO of Health and Wellness Solutions, has written a new book,”WholeFit: Wellness for Life,” providing readers a comprehensive, integrative approach to health and wellness.

Designed to help readers who are concerned about weight, chronic illness, diabetes, stress, life balance or overall wellness, “WholeFit” offers principles and solutions to find greater life enjoyment through healthy living.

Health and wellness, according to a news release from Dupree, is defined as having peace and fulfillment in multiple areas of one’s life, including nutrition, fitness, health, personal motivation, relationships, spirituality, life balance, career and hobbies and passions.

DuPree relies on the expertise of professionals and practitioners from various disciplines, including medicine, nutrition, fitness, psychology, theology and family therapy to bring together a more realistic view of health. In addition, stories and examples of ways to find more life satisfaction in all areas of our life are used to inspire and uplift.

“(‘WholeFit’) is a reflection on the important things in life and how to recognize and appreciate them,” Terri L. Kane said. Kane holds a bachelor of science in nursing, a master’s in business administration, is the regional vice president of Intermountain Healthcare’s southwest region and is CEO of Dixie Regional Medical Center in St. George. Of Dupree’s book, she said:

It is easy to read, and everyone can relate to the real, and sometimes personal, stories. This is a must-read and a reminder for all of us that we each can live a more balanced and healthy life . . . if we choose to.

Whitewater canoe slalom Olympic gold medalist Joe Jacobi said:

It’s clear beyond reason that true health is more than just diet and exercise. To perform better, align with purpose, and experience contentment, we must capture and activate a collective effort of all energies and resources that surround us on a daily basis. ‘WholeFIT’ is the method for making this happen. Jared and his colleagues create a principle-centered and holistic approach to complete wellness, inside and out, in small steps.

DuPree and his colleagues invite everyone to recognize how connected we are both internally and externally, his news release said, adding: As we find fulfillment in one area, other areas are impacted. In the end, living a truly healthy life means living one that incorporates our mind, body, emotions, relationships, spirituality and connection to others in meaningful ways.

With so many quick fixes, fad diets and simple solutions available, the release said, “WholeFit” takes a step back and provides a more realistic and effective long-term approach to finding health and wellness.

Dupree invites readers: Begin your journey to a healthier you today. This comprehensive approach to health takes you beyond fad diets to realistic, long-term change. Combining breakthrough research and timeless principles, this book will help you enjoy a life free from worries about weight, chronic illness and stress. Enhance your health, your emotions and your relationships as you find the balance and wellness you’ve always wanted.

Dupree’s book was featured in a November article in Forbes.

I guess this will enhance the ability to sell more advertising in the magazine, after all, isn’t what this is about? The same content but three times as many advertisers.
