OPINION — I love seeing local businesses get creative, and that’s exactly what local St. George Nail Salon Le Couture has done with their karaoke pedicure service.
I mean, I love karaoke and I love pedicures, so this is a major win-win for me.
Not only are pedicures good for the sole, (see what I did there?), but there’s just something about perfectly painted nails that make you feel like you kinda have your life together. Am I right?!
And then when you add karaoke to the mix – I mean, it just doesn’t get better.

About Le Couture; St. George Nail Salon & Spa
Le Couture is located in the Rio Plaza on Riverside Drive right below Be Hot Yoga. (They also have another location in the Bell Tower Courtyard, but I have never been to that one.)
The cost of a regular spa pedicure is only $18.95, and they are very thorough and super friendly. I tested out their services twice before I decided to do the article just to be sure I was happy with the results and their service. When it comes to my nails, I’m pretty picky – so the fact that they passed the test not once but twice is a big deal for me.
The thing that stood out the most was the environment. It’s a large room that is extremely clean with all brand new equipment (massage chairs are a must!).
The nail polish selection is also excellent. Choosing a polish color is always the HARDEST decision for me – am I the only one who struggles with this? I opted for a black and white pedicure, and I absolutely love how it turned out!
The dual drying station has a UV light with a built-in fan. I always hate waiting for my nails to dry and try to sneak away early so that feature was basically made for I-hate-sitting-still people like me.
Karaoke pedicures
Karaoke pedicures are always offered during business hours at the normal spa pedicure price. However, if you want to rent out the salon for a birthday party, school dances, bunco groups or just a fun girls or date night (something I highly, highly recommend), there is a small extra fee ($50-$150 total depending on what special services you would like).
At the Rio Plaza location, there are 17 pedicure chairs and six manicure chairs – and plenty of standing room for karaoke singers if your group has more than 17 people!
There’re over 10,000 songs to choose from. They range from oldies to classics to new and popular hits, so there’s a song for everyone to sing.
All in all, it’s an experience that NEEDS to be on your St. George bucket list!
