ST. GEORGE — A crash on 3050 East just after 1 p.m. Monday afternoon caused severe damage to two vehicles.
“We were called to this intersection at 450 North and 3050 East on the report of a crash involving this box truck and a silver Cadillac,” St. George Police Sgt. Craig Harding said. “When we arrived down here we found that the silver Cadillac actually was coming across 3050 East right in the path of the box truck.”
The Cadillac was crossing 3050 East from Deseret Drive west to 450 North when the southbound truck clipped the Cadillac. The impact spun the Cadillac around, lodging its rear end under the box of the truck.
No injuries were reported, however both vehicles were disabled and had to be towed from the scene.
Harding said the Cadillac driver will be cited for failure to yield.
