5 Local robotics teams headed to World Championships!

This year Vista School had 14 teams who participated in VEX Robotics Competition (11 VRC, 3 IQ).  VEX robotics is the world\’s largest and fastest growing robotics competition with over 20,000 teams worldwide.  Students who participate in VEX learn a variety of STEM and 21st century skills. Each year teams of 3-5 students design, build and program a robot to compete in a challenging game.

In this year\’s VEX VRC game, “Tipping Point”, robots must score rings and goals in zones of the 12’ x 12’ field in a 15 second autonomous period and 1:45 driver control period. Vista Robotics had 1 high school VRC team, 3 middle school VRC teams, and a 5th grade IQ team qualify for the VEX World Championships. Vista will be joined by teams from around the world in Dallas Texas, May 2-12th but they need your help to get there!

Please help our southern Utah students make it to Worlds!
