SOUTHERN UTAH — The Utah Division of Arts and Museums and the Salt Lake City Community Writing Center invite submissions to the Utah Original Writing Competition.
Since 1958, the Utah Original Writing Competition has celebrated Utah’s dynamic and varied voices. The competition’s mission is to aid Utah writers on their path to publication and broader recognition.
The competition is open to Utah residents age 18 and over, and the submission period runs from May 4 through June 30. It is free to submit and cash prizes are awarded for first and second place in each competition category.
