ST. GEORGE – Dixie State College of Utah is reaching out to community adults to encourage them to “get back on track” by earning a college degree.
As part of the effort, DSC will host a two-night open house for potential students this Wednesday and Thursday at 7 p.m. in Room 234 of Holland Centennial Commons on the DSC campus.
Laralee Davenport with the DSC Admissions Office said that the open house is designed to invite adults back to the college and introduce them to the different academic programs that DSC has to offer. Attendees will learn about the admission process and financial aid and can meet one-on-one with academic advisors who will help them transition back into college.
“Whether they are considering returning to college or attending for the first time, this open house is a way to welcome all Washington County adults to our campus and get them on their way to a college degree,” Davenport said.
Davenport also said that each prospective student who attends the open house will have their $35 fee waived if they do apply.
