Police searching for missing, endangered St. George man

UPDATE: 5:49 p.m.  Jordan Colombel has reportedly been located after what St. George Police Sgt. Spencer Holmes referred to as “amazing work” by the Police Department’s investigations division and its supervisor, Sgt. Sam Despain.

Upon being located by authorities, Colombel was transported via ambulance to Dixie Regional Medical Center in St. George.

“We are lucky to have found him when we did as he was desperately in need of medical care,” Holmes said. “He was located in Bloomington near some businesses and was with Jaime (Vongsaravanh).”

ST. GEORGE — Police are searching for a St. George man who went missing Monday and is believed by authorities to possibly be endangered.

Police said 29-year-old Jordan Colombel suffers from a medical condition that requires medication that he does not have with him.

“We have been searching since 9:45 this morning and could use the public’s help in locating him or developing leads as to his whereabouts,” St. George Police Sgt. Spencer Holmes said Monday.

Colombel was last seen by roommates at 3 a.m. Monday and has not been heard from since, the St. George Police Department said in a statement.

“He is possibly headed to the Salt Lake area and believed to be with Jamie Vongsaravanh, of Kearns, Utah,” according to the Police Department.

Vongsaravanh is reportedly a friend of Colombel’s.

Anyone with information regarding Colombel’s whereabouts is asked to call the St. George Police Department at 435-627-4300.
