ST. GEORGE — You have read her gardening columns in St George Magazine and other periodicals, now come meet Diana Dee Maranhao and listen to her presentation on “Water Wise Gardening & Mulches.”
The Dixie Garden Club is honored to present Maranhao at their monthly meeting scheduled for Wednesday Nov. 18, 1 p.m. at the Star Nursery located at 1335 S. Dixie Drive in St George.
Maranhao is the author of Rocky Mountain Fruit and Vegetable Gardening. Copies of the book will be available for purchase at $20 and she will sign them for you.
The meeting is open to the public, free of charge and all are welcome to attend.
Light refreshments will be served after the conclusion of the program.
The Dixie Garden Club meets on the third Wednesday of each month from Sept.–June. Some programs are only open to members. Membership is $15 per person and $25 for a couple.
Each year the Dixie Garden Club presents scholarships to students attending Dixie State University. Further information on the scholarship program will be publicized in early Spring 2016.
